Hi Berg, The solution Ralfinio gave you is probably not going to cut it. I think you want an analog value specific for each motor instance right? What I like to do is multi instance faceplate technique. What it comes down to is that you have a chart called: "Supply" and in it you have a "MotL" block called: "Motor1_" and your MonAnL block called: "Motor1_SP". See what I'm doing? The name of the MonAnL block is build up like this: "Motor1_" and "SP". "Motor1_" is going to be used as sort of a prefix. This is very important. PS: "Motor1" is just a name I gave, you can change this extension if you like ofcourse. So, now we are going to use this at the block icon like Ralfinio already told you with a few modifications: 1. Open the picture with the block symbol. What this technique does is just to extend the Motor block with another block, without making any modifications to the block itself. Now you can generate Process Tag Types and thus create 1,10,100 or 1000 instances which all have an unique analog value connected to them. In order to use this technique, you must have the following requirements: - All blocks are in the same chart. - There is only one technological block which can display messages. If you want messages of the MonAnL, you can connect them to the "External messages" of the MotL block. - The block names which are to be used as multi instance faceplate should have the name build up like I mentioned. Good luck! |
