Thanks, for your answer How do I add the row "1101 Extended operation 1" and "1102 Extended operation 2" in the user administrator? |

wodan, The picture you uploaded is the user administrator of v6.1/v7.x version, not v8.x. Did you upload the wrong picture? Anyways, to add your own user levels-> 1. Go to WinCC Explorer and open User Administrator 2. On the left pane, select User Administrator and in the middle on the bottom are three options, select: "Authorization Levels 3. Now you can configure your own levels as you like. See the attached screenshot |

Hi wodan, Glad I could help! If the old user administrator is available, then it means the ES and along the OS servers etc. are not updated to PCS7 V8.0 SP2. Can you check the following: Go to Start->Siemens Automation->Simatic->Inst. software (possible you have another location for the "Installed software" program in the Documentation or Information folder under Siemens) You can check which version is installed at this moment. Maybe you can check the following manual: Software update with utilization of new functions This is a manual with all steps required to update to PCS7 v8.0 SP1 with new functions when you go from classic library blocks to APL blocks. There is also a manual that describe the methods of a software update without new functions: Software update without utilization of new functions This is the case when you only update blocks to the new PCS7 version. I think you may need this one since you are only updating APL blocks.
