Hi, You will need the THPOfile. This is a text document which is generated when the block icons are created during compile of the OS. You also can start the creation of block icons manually. The document shows which block icons are created and for which tags. The file is located here: [Multiproject name]\[OS project name]\wincproj\[OS servername]\THPOfile.txt You can also open it from Simatic Manager by selecting Plant View->Right click on the multiproject->Plant Hierarchy->Open Block Icons Log. Another easy way is to use the Process Object View in Simatic Manager. You can search for block icons and sort them on name, so you can see exactly which block icon is used where. See attachment for a print screen. AttachmentblockiconPOview.pdf (127 Downloads) |

Hello Oreca, first, Thanx for your post. Which document do you mean? The APL Styleguide or an other document? Here the link to the PCS 7 APL Style Guide, which describes how you can create own blocks in APL Look&Fell: |

Another way is to create a VBA action in the WinCC graphics designer. A function that will find all block icons with a specific prefix such as @VlvL. You can open a picture, run the script and find and select all objects with that prefix. You need to write a code however, which you can find in the WinCC scripting manual: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/109736230/wincc-v7-4-scripting:-vbs-ansi-c-vba?lc=en-ww. You will need to know how to write vba code however. Or maybe you can use the Cross reference function inside WinCC to check where a block icon is used? |
