I've a password protected 317-2DP PLC without its original backup. It is connected with some Simovert drives and a third party HMI.

In order to communicate with one more HMI(ex: KTP700) we need subnet id. I need to read a address from the PLC (ex: MD100). 

Is it possible to access the subnet id or the M address by any way??

I need to read the data and provide it to EDP.

You do not need the subnet id.

You just need the associated PLC Adress (MPI, DP, Ethernet IP)

Default, CPU has adress 2 for MPI and DP.

The devices adresses and the bus setting (usually 1.5 Mbd) you find out using PG/PC Interface setting tool "available devices".

Select an adress that is not already in use for your KTP, usually it is adress 1.
Select CPU adress (usually 2) for communication settings in WinCC TIA or flexible.

Mostly, no change in PLC - program is necessary than.

the only thing you have to care is if you use a use defined DP Profile on your Mastersystem. If you use this then you have to edit the same DP Profile also in the TIA Portal DP Network. Or you use as I Supposed the PLC Proxy then the DP Profile will be used out of the Classic PLC Project.
