It is not a good setup, but profinet lets normal tcp ip traffic over it. So should work. |

Check out the section 6.2 here: https://www.theseus.fi/bitstream/handle/10024/92739/Siven_Jami.pdf?sequence=1&isAllowed=y It might help to understand why IT security guys do not like the mix of both networks. For short time many use it, but for a long time setup it is not recommended. |
