 very appreciate your work on this problematic, really. Let me say my opinion due big problematic in this area of Modbus. I think users can find your library very useful but on other side (I said this already previously) users then need only support from your side and all can go to situtaion similar with our one other good user Tibi68 and his good Modbus library to CP340/341. In this time users used his library are without support in case of problems and use of his library can be problem. I want say my opinion simply, use of standard Siemens library is better way in my opinion, also many users can help in this Forum with this problematic. I just want say my opinion to all users here, you can select what you want but support then can be problem. Again, this is my opinion due my experience in this area and again apreciate all your work here.

Thank you for your feedback Duris, I believe you have a valid point, being able to get good support is important. I have some users asking questions by email from time to time, and I answer them within some few days. Also I hope my involvement in this forum show that I am reliable. I believe more people will get involved in the future.

Some of the philosophy within the library is that it should be easy to use and support should't be necessary. Everything should just work out of the box without any deep knowledge on how the inner part works. I hope people will download and give it a try. There are already Siemens PLCs all around the world running the code.

Avoiding unnecessary complexity and keeping things simple is a good engineering principle. On the other hand, time is precious as an engineer and with the library and the ready profiles blocks (SB's) within, it will literally only take minutes to create a program.

I am a fan of open source, and I believe we automation engineers can be better at sharing code with each others.
