I have the exact same problem with PCS7 v9 after a warm restart. I've tried all these suggestions, but they didn't work. Any ideas? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hi, After a restart of the PLC, the SFC can be in two states: Inconsistent and consistent state. Depending on the configuration, the SFC is reset to Idle or it continues in the sequencer (Retain SFC state option). If you have that option, you have to switch the SFC to Manual in order to allow further processing. After a PLC restart, data may be inconsistent (during block processing) or consistent (processing blocks were completed). Inconsistent state (green arrow symbol):
Consistent state (red returning arrow symbol):
The error shown up is normal because output: CPU_RESTART and "EXEC_ERR" are shown when PLC is restarted. When you initiate Reset, Resume, Abort or Stop, the errors are gone. The buttons can be pressed, since the enables are not considered after a restart of the PLC. You can use output: "TRIG_CPU_RESTART" in a start condition for a sequencer to execute some logic. After that, write "FALSE" to "TRIG_CPU_RESTART" in the sequencer so everything returns to "normal". |
If I could help you, you can use the RATE button. Thank you. |
