The basic big problem is that you must use VPN of teamviewer of course. But the head-ache is that perhaps not all ports are forwarded and so basically this could block everything.

Plus there is the TIA Online settings where you should put the VPN virtual adapter.

SO it is a very very hard task.

If we have bigger facilities or Projects we work often with a seperate Computer in the Customers factory where TIA Portal or Step7 is working. then wie connecto via Teamviewer to that Engineering Computer to work with.

In this case you do not have to worry about the Ports.

With Teamviewer you are only able to connect to Computers not diectly to PLC. Here you have to use a VPN Connection.

I Think He means the VPN Functionality of Teamviewer. You can create a VPN Connection between two Teamviewer Systems.

Im Sorry its a German Link.

But the basic Things are the same, you need two computers which have teamviewer installed. With only one Teamviewer Computer with TIA and on the other side only a PLC its not possible. You need a Device (Mostly Computer or Gateway) to open a VPN connection.

usually I install on a pc panel the tia portal + teamviwer and I can modify the program even via smartphone. Customer is happy, Siemens is happy, me too, my boss very little...

now I've another problem, my boss didn't give me the budget to install tia portal on remote pcpanel.

i'm trying this solution I've installed on my PG and on the remote PC the Teamviewer VPN, I made all the passages , I can ping remote PC but I can't access to the Plc.

I put the remote assigned IP  7.xxx.xxx.x etc... I can see plc as accessible on the network but not compatible. 

so, is there a way to charge at least software on the plc? is it a Shangri-La? Please say me it's possible or I've to take the car and run for 1000 miles to change a timer.
