Hello, is there anyway to use the AM2 AQ so that the voltage comes from the field (from an old Provox DCS) instead of the card supplying the voltage to the DCS card ? i don't want to change any config on the DCS cards. it's a 6ED1055 - 1MM00 - 0BA2 to be precise.. the DCS uses a 2 wire pressure rosemount that i need cheat the signal for cleaning.. so the DCS supplies the power to that sensor.. but i fear the AM2 AQ cards will push voltage into the DCS which is something i do not want . please refer to this as the first part of the story : Analog in to analog out , then freeze it.. - Entries - Forum - Industry Support - Siemens thanks ! |

Hello again, i have found a solution, and wanted to share with you guys. it's a 4-20 MA signal isolator.. plug in.. plug out.. PHOENIX CONTACT | Repeater power supply - MINI MCR-SL-RPS-I-I - 2864422 it'S the simplest way without having modify the wiring as this is a test we are doing to install a sensor cleaner on the process. |
