Group Display not coming at Area button

I have created user defined driver block , Block icon and faceplate in my project. I am not using any standard driver blocks such as Motor or Valve in my project. I am not able see the Group display in the picture tree area button.

JOTST Bronze Member Joined: 11/15/2009 Last visit: 11/5/2024 Posts: 385 Rating: (47)	Hi Saravana kumar, Please regard: 1) Switch on "Create/update group displays" in "OS Project Editor"/"Message display". 2) Group Display in your Block icon with propetis "Miscellaneous\Group relevant" "Yes" You derive picture hierarchy from the plant hierarchy? Regards

But even after clearing the all alalrms the group display is showing the alarm at area button. I have cheked the in the individual block icon and associated faceplate, it is also displaying the alalrm indication at the Group display without any alalrm present.

See Fig 01 in the following FAQ: How can you have alarms displayed in the process picture with the smart object "Group Display" when the bit alarm procedure or analog alarm is being used as the alarm process? Also see the following FAQ: What can you do if no messages are displayed in the overview area of WinCC? Regards

herrmann Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	I am facing with the same problem. I am working my project on PCS7 V8 SP1 and APL V8 for block icon and its faceplate. On my OS there is no group display showing on overview area and acknowledge button on all faceplate is not working if we click it. If we use apdiag tool to diagnose the problem there is unknown error when we click the acknowledge button. Please see the attachment. What should I do to solve the problem?
