Well, what OpenOS does is interacting with third party systems, generate AS objects and generate icons, alarms of it. TIA portal is not fully integrated in PCS7. You will create your objects in the S71500, which are read out through OPC to PCS7. You can however create in the S71500 your own Valve and pump object according to APL (as close as possible), but it's not that you can integrate the APL library in the S71500. |

Hi experts thank you for your help but I just want to follow this manual: Open OS S71500 I will show the integration steps of the S7-1500 with PCS7 OS OPEN in the images below: My questions about the pictures ( 3,7,8,9) 1) picture ( 3,7,8): how I will generate the block icon and faceplate. 2) picture (9): knowing that I have used blocks (Motor [FB620] Analog [FB640] Valve [FB630]) I did not understand the use made of structure UDT object. Note: to see the images zoom in a little word file. regards.

Answer question 1: If you configured your objects in the DBA, then you can compile the OS. (Little blue arrow in the DBA editor). All objects are compiled to the OS and block icons are created. Answer question 2: The UDT is a user defined block, where you can create a structure with reals, bools, int's etc.. For instance, if you have a UDT like this: Value REAL 0.0 Status Byte 16#00 Stepnumber INT 0 Then you can create variables of the UDT structure: Motor1 :UDT1; Motor2 :UDT1; Like you can see in your picture 9: A UDT structure is created in the first picture and in the next several objects like L1001, P1001, F1001 etc. use the UDT structure: MEAS_TYPE. |
