Hi everyone. I Have being programming the LOGO PLC today exact like you suggested.

But it fails to close Q1. I'm not worrying about my less than 1sec requirement for the moment, so 2sec as per post above is what I'm using.

I have 3 questions:

1.) Reset is required in 2 blocks what should be connected to these 2 reset nodes?

2) 2 "and" function blocks, should these have an "x" in the unused nodes?

3) whats the R function, and where it it in the PAR function?

• I have deleted the program
• re-wrote it
• inverted the node I circled in red, as I think the suggested DWG has back dot that may signify inverse.
• still nothing on Q1
• took out the "x"s

These 3 questions relate directly to the drawing you guys kindly gave me last Friday.

These are not general questions. I also made a mistake on point .

I know what the reset does, but the DRAWING attached has nothing connected. The clock should reset/restart.....what going to make it happen in this case?

2) 2 "and" function blocks, should these have an "x" in the unused nodes?

The drawing attached has nothing on the non connected legs. I presume these have to be "x" or will I leave them ln2,3,4,etc.....

3) whats the REM function, and where it it in the PAR function

Sorry this is not the RESET function.I don't have any reference to REM in my PAR/MENU, I cannot find it n the .pdf either how to toggle it

I think you must read the manual or the online help.

I know you are trying to be helpful. But I'm also trying my best. Learning LOGO and PLC functions is basically a new language.

If you can't answer the specific questions then please just say so, offering the documents is OK, but you'll see that I have already said it's not covered the .pdf,

It's mention plenty, but I can't find anywhere it shows how to toggle the parameter on/off.

There's certainly nowhere that shows "Rem = off"

I find sometimes reading user service/system manuals etc.., that certain assumptions are made when dealing with users.

You can't make assumptions with me, I know nothing....that I haven't picked up myself since I started last Tuesday.

I'm shocked I got this far to be honest.
