I have following data of master drive and i want to know its equivalent data for sinamics.i have cu240s dp f  and pm240

control word 1 is interconnected per bit:

Double word 2 is interconnected to the main setpoint:

Sinamics has different system structure than masterdrive as such direct 1:1 parameter are not available. Also it needs sizer    starter software for commissioning.

You need to do engineering & understand sinamincs drives.

• What is application? pumping, motion, process, machining etc.
• How many motor needs to control?
• Continuous / Non Continuous?

Sinamics has different system structure than masterdrive as such direct 1:1 parameter are not available. Also it needs sizer software for commissioning.

 Sizer is used for for sizing the ratings of Motors and Drives from Mechanical and application data .

The software you need is  : SINAMICS MICROMASTER STARTER  along with the SSPs ( Sinamics Service Packs ) for the Version and type of the SINAMICS drive that you are using.

Download and install the required packages are you are ready to go.
Starter can be used Integrated with SIMATIC Manager as well as Standalone.

If you are using TIA with SINAMICS  you can download and use SINAMICS Startdrive ( However it does not support all types of SINAMICS drives just yet )

Once you use Starter, you will find that it is very different from Drivemonitor ( Used for Masterdrive ) , and most settings for simple applications can be done with wizards available.

"Expert List" is still available if you want to adjust individual parameters.

Hello,

In the data sheet you attached of old master drive, line supply voltage mentioned is 540 V AC. If it is so, you need to go for Sinamics G180 series drive. This can communicate over profibus with PLC & can work. But this will cost little high.

If the line voltage is 415 V AC, you can go for Sinamics G120C, 6SL3210-1KE21-3UP1, since your application is only V/F without feedback sensor & will be cost effective. 

Even if your line voltage is 540 V, I would recommand you to go for delta-star 540 V - 415 V AC configuration step down transformer of capacity 7.5 KVA with sinamics G120C drive. This will provide further isolation to drive & this combination will be much cost effective considering your application. 

In both cases PLC profibus communication can be establish & not a major issue.

Thanks for all reply.I got too much help from this post.now i have a question that in master drive,main setpoint is going by two words KK3032.how can i  configure two words for setpoint in sinamics.can u provide me starter pic plz

Pl see the attached screenshot.

Alternatively in Expert list, you can assign r2060[1] for Main Setpoint

Please also note that there are differences between Control Word structures for Masterdrive and SINAMICS. You need to assign accordingly.
