I faced with a problem when I was trying to connect OP270 with my PC for remote control by MPI/USB Adapter. The problem is that I got the online connection between PLC and PC. However, I could control the process only with my PC. I wanted to control the technological process with PC in a control room or  OP270 in the workshop. Apparently, I need to change something in settings of communication.

I would be grateful for any help and pieces of advice. 

about equipment and programmes: I use PLC S7-300, OP270, Pro Tool Pro SG, Step7.

Please correct me if I'm wrong

You have a S7-300 (Which CPU? 6ES7....)

And an OP270 programmed using ProTool.

When you connect S7-300 with OP270, you can use HMI panel?

When you connect PC to S7-300, you can monitor S7 program.  Are you using the PC as an HMI?

You want to use OP270 and PC to visualize the process?

What do you mean with Remote Control?

The only Option I know in this case is SmartServer (on VNC Technology based Option to romote control the Panel) But it only works since WinCC flexible and you need Ethernet Connection.

Or you can create with Protool Pro an PC Runtime where the same project as on the OP can run and communicate with the PLC parallel to the OP.

What do I need for it? I have all programmes on my laptop but something goes wrong and as a result, i get a problem.

I use OP270 10'' to visualize the technological process, and I would like to use my laptop to do it as well.

we use CPU-315DP. if I connect MPI/USB Adapter to PLC and launch ProTool Runtime on my laptop I can't control the plant wit OP 270, only with my laptop.

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately, I could do it only in a few days. Anyway, I will try to do it and, of course, I will let you know about the result.

However, I have two more question. The first one: Am I right when I connect my laptop to PLC via that connector? (see zip.file below) 

The second question: Should I change any settings in Simatic ProTool or not?
