Can you ping the ip address of the PLC ? I believe the default is 192.168.0.1 |

I try to ping but it not works. Maybe the CPU is broken? |

Did you change the IP address on the laptop/pc port to match the same subnet ? Try changing the IP on your pc to 192.168.0.200, then try to ping again. |

Have you tried the PST? It should find the PLC/CPU and allow you to set the IP address. Just power cycle the PLC, and use the Primary Setup Tool ( https://support.automation.siemens.com/US/llisapi.dll?func=cslib.csinfo&lang=en&objid=20414744&caller=view) After that, you can do a PLC reset to factory defaults (with the ip still set). Once you can successfully ping the PLC, you should be able to download a project and get it to start into run mode. |

Hi, check if the tips in Tips: S7-1200 / STEP 7 Basic - Check list for first online access /tf/WW/en/Posts/46536#top are usefull. Else, I suggest you update the CPU FW. If it doesn't work, maybe should be a case of fault... |
