Hello All, I am having an error when I install TIA Portal V. 13.0 SP 1. Below is the error that I am getting and I will attach the log files: 21:49:13 |ERROR AdsWorkerSetupPackage::OnWorkerCompleted(): - SetupPackage setup failed due to unknown error 21:49:14 | FAIL! SetupUnit (TIAESTOUR), Failed - - PlusOptional, AddLocal Any ideas on what this error maybe? I can't find anything in the forums on this particular message, which is quite frustrating. This is the only error that comes up during the install. I will need to do multiple posts because of the size of the file. Attached is Part 1. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Hello, Yes, the install was done with Administrator rights and privileges, I also disabled the anti-virus software (Symantec Endpoint Small Business Edition). I wasn't able to copy the CD to a USB drive, so I am guessing that there is an issue with the CD I was given. I received a file from a coworker and that installed correctly as did the update from the updated software package. I then tried to install WinCC Comfort/Advanced V13.0 SP1 and also ran into errors. Here is the summary and I have attached the first set of the log files. 08:41:39 |ERROR HspInstallWorker::ExtractHsps(): - No files have been extracted. 08:42:17 |ERROR HspInstallWorker::ExtractHsps(): - No files have been extracted. 08:49:45 |ERROR HspInstallWorker::ExtractHsps(): - No files have been extracted. 08:50:23 |ERROR HspInstallWorker::ExtractHsps(): - No files have been extracted. 08:51:00 |ERROR HspInstallWorker::ExtractHsps(): - No files have been extracted. 08:51:38 |ERROR HspInstallWorker::ExtractHsps(): - No files have been extracted. 08:52:15 |ERROR HspInstallWorker::ExtractHsps(): - No files have been extracted. 08:52:52 |ERROR HspInstallWorker::ExtractHsps(): - No files have been extracted. 08:53:30 |ERROR HspInstallWorker::ExtractHsps(): - No files have been extracted. 08:54:07 |ERROR HspInstallWorker::ExtractHsps(): - No files have been extracted. 08:54:45 |ERROR HspInstallWorker::ExtractHsps(): - No files have been extracted. 08:55:22 |ERROR HspInstallWorker::ExtractHsps(): - No files have been extracted. 08:56:00 |ERROR HspInstallWorker::ExtractHsps(): - No files have been extracted. 08:56:00 |ERROR HspInstallWorker::ApplyUpdates(): - Patch info could not be extracted: ERROR_PATCH_PACKAGE_INVALID Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. Hello, seems like there is not only the TIA Portal affected from the incomplete Data. You can try to reinstall the Automation Licence Manager. SIOS is the website here (Siemens Industrial Online Support)! https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/105825934 https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/106448872 Regards |

Hello All, Thank you for the responses, it is much appreciated. I uninstalled ALM and then began to try to reinstall it. I was given the following link to the ALM software: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/114358 The problem I have now is that whenever I try to reinstall ALM, I can't get it to load. I get a message saying 'Error 1327. Invalid Drive: E:\". What I can't understand is that I make sure that the installation location is: C:\Program Files\Siemens\Automation\Automation License Manager\" (which is the default link). I only see two log files generated last night when I tried to get the system to Run. I will attach them here. I will also try to put down the screen captures of what I did also. Again, thank you for all of the help. Best Regards, John AttachmentALM Install Logs.zip (95 Downloads) |
