 I have change Ip address and the remote port, but the function TCon do not change to busy.

Edit : The status is egal at 7002 (ongoing liaison)

 Why did you change IP (whose, plc of remote partner) and remote port? I do not understand right now what is happening with your code, does it give you busy, what does it give you ? (PHOTOs!!! , do not send me a project because i do not have v13)

I have change the Ip/Port on the db with the parameters. It's the port and the Ip for ma Solatron module.

It seems good to me. It means that the communication is working. Now what you want to do is to open the port of communication from Solatron software... The same thing you already did for opening the port from you PC, open xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (ip of plc) port number (of plc). I do not know how to do that in Orbit software because I am not familiar with it.

One thing I didn't understand is how do you read data sent from sensor to you PC...? Which software do you use, and how do you program for obtain the data from sensor?

It's a software from the manufacturer.

It's "OrbitLabrary Test".

Can you explain-me the difference between passive connection and active connection ? I think it's a solution for my problem.

Active vs Passive, take a look at this. it actually make sense what you are saying. Anyway at this point, you should contact ORBIT to make sure of things... I've never used this module so I do not know what to do with it...

I'm very busy for the moment wih this project.

I have write a  new program for my project and I have learn the active and passive connection.

For my project, I must be use active connection. I set the db config with the active connection.

The project give me a done for the connections, but my module don't turn on the blue light.

When I connect  my laptop to the module, the blue light blink.

If I want to connect my laptop to the module when I have a connection with the PLC and the module, my laptop didn't see any module. As like the same with the laptop and the module.

Have you got any idea for me ?

Hello Janko,

any chance that you have this project converted to TIA Portal V13 SP1 or V14?

I opened the project but my TIA V14 complaint that is an old project and it must be upgraded to V13 SP1.
