Hello, This cable as far as I remember doesn't come with a driver. It should be installed if you have recent version of MICROWIN or even WinCC flexible. This cable is used for download or upload of S7-200 PLCs and also some SIMATIC Panels. In any case, there may be some difficulties with some old versions CPU. Please revise the info in the following FAQ. It stated clearly that for these old CPUs you should use serial PPI cable! Why do you get an error message when program downloading in various S7-S7-21x CPUs via USB/PPI or RS-232/ PPI Multi Master cable? In any case, please tell us what type and part number of PLC or SIMATIC Panel you would like to use the PPI cable with. Hope this helps. |

Hello ViciTech; If you plan to run Microwin 4.0 under Win 7 (32- or 64-bit), you should install SP9.
STEP7 MicroWIN V4.0 SP8 and SP9
