If you think of the AWP commands as ASP type commands rather than a browser request to the web server, it may help you find a way to get the answer. Set up your AWP's that need jscript with names like "js-MyMB0", "js-MyDB1value" (with your own naming convention of course as this is just a suggestion). The jscript will get executed by the browser, not the web server, so all the necessary stuff must exist within the rendered page for the jscript to work. Helpful?

Ivo vd E. Posts: 20 Rating: (1)	Not really, but thanks any way. I'm still looking for a way to view an actual value without refreshing the entire webpage.. but the only way to get actual value's is a request/post or a total refresh.. If somebody has an example, it would be very nice!

It is obviously not what the plc web server was intended so it will not be easy. Maybe it is time to get a PC application to get the data from the PLC, build a web application, and use a real web server?

Ivo vd E. Posts: 20 Rating: (1)	I imported your script, changed url and changed the xml file to the right variables i use. When i'm viewing the htmlpage the div which has to show my variables values, shows the :=Data_block_1".variable: and not the actual value of the variable.. whats wrong? thnx

Ivo vd E. Posts: 20 Rating: (1)	Go to the configuration of the PLC in TIA, and open the 'Web sever' part. The block below the block generator you can define wich files have dynamic content.

strazdas Posts: 4 Rating: (1)	Ivo is right. Sorry, forget to mention that I recommend to use xml structure to store data in plc and html with ajax in client's pc to vizualise the process. Then you could make system to show values from different plc's in one window etc.
