Hi Microman, This problem occurs when the PCS7 hardware catalog does not contain the correct GSD file. Because of this, the system cannot determine the diagnostics and thus an error is generated. You must make sure the correct GSD file is imported in the hardware catalogus. |

Hi, Yeah, only modules from PCS7 catalog are released...You need to check if the device is supported in the PCS7 Released Modules. PS: The link is for V9.0 SP1, but you may need another version. |

Hi, OK! The PCS7 version is V7.1. I checked the SIMATIC Process Control System PCS 7 Released Modules (V7.1) list it is not in it. Is there a way to overcome this issue? |

Hi, I have to check in my files for a workaround (can check this evening/tomorrow), but if you remove the channel driver block for each input of the module and use a simple scale block from the standard library , then you won't have the issue...but then you lose the diagnostics capability... Since v8.1 the "Generate Module Driver" option is enabled by default, so if you remove the check during AS compile, you can compile without problems but next AS compile, the option is re-enabled automatically. |

Hi MicroMan, I inserted a ET200B module from the standard catalog and tried to compile and download. This works, no driver block connections are generated..Even it is not supported by PCS7, the compiler does not complain about that. So, I think the issue is that the slave is unknown in your hardware catalog... If you go to CFC chart and right click the input address and select: "Go to IO module", does that work? If not, the slave is not recognized.. |

Hi, What if you delete all the @charts in the project and run AS compile again? |
