After installing the Software you can access the FM via routing though the S7-CPU (MPI, PROFIBUS or PROFINET) or directly via a RS232 cable (SC57). With this Software you can generate, modify, download and monitor the FM458 program. For more information look into the getting started: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/14943191 There is a old free DOS-Software that allows tolook inside and change values: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/8806155(choose IBS501) This Software is not released to be used with the FM, in some configurations it works, in some ot.
