Dear Experts.

In one of the old projects developers  have used PROTOOL software but now when I try to upload the program for modification it is telling me that the protool software is not installed.

any remedy for this issue?

nowhere because ProTool is a discontinued product an no longer available.

You can try to open a support request or Contact Siemens department next to you to get the installfiles.

Hi, I have  a old PLC when I try to upload the Program from the CPU it says PROTOOL no installed in your system. 

I know that protool have been discontinued and since because of thisw the HMI is not displayed in the HW config

HMI is generel not displayed in HWConfig!
Only if you inserted a keypanel as Slave or Device the HMI is displayed in the HWConfig.

from my experience (hope some problem it solve for you), look carefuly to Step7 project directories. In case of integrated Protool project with Step7 there must be Protool project file in some directory. This is first hope solution. Another step is to have installed ProTool on PG/PC to correctly work with that OP project file.

Problem: PROTOOL SOFTWARE MISSING ERROR MESSAGE WHILE UPLOAD
Solution: Install WinCC Flexible 2008 Sp3 and upload again.
