Which PLC and extras

It needs to be able to control the usual digital I/Os, but also record various ranges of temperatures, flow rates, pressures. I'm thinking of using the usual 300 range of PLC as its what I am most familiar with (if you think there is a better option please tell me), but am unsure of whether I would need to buy additional hardware as well (ie a DAC converter, etc). Any suggestions?

Check chapter 4 of this manual for types of analog input modules and tips for connecting. Also check the chapter 6 for different modules and their characteristics! Pick up the IM151-8 and it comes with a 3 port ethernet switch built in which is handy. ram06 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	basicaly you need list out the I/O list and idetify numbers of I/O's base digital/analogue. Then you have decide either you need HMI or scada for visuvalation. Once you draft, you can chosse very simple hardwares to suit your project and save some money.
