RugbyGuy Silver Member Joined: 1/15/2009 Last visit: 4/19/2024 Posts: 316 Rating: (40)	Other than all the fancey specs, perhaps one distinguishing feature is that the S7-1200 I don't believe is being supported in PCS7 (at least as of V7.1 SP3, maybe in V8.0?) If your not using PCS7 or dont plan on it, then get whichever suits you best!

If youtell us what you are planningto do with it I am surewe can suggest you one or the other system. Two main differences between S7-1200 and S7-400 would be design & price. But there are many others. Than more details you can provide us than better the communitycan support you. Regards.

I don't know what a "RESOLVER" is to be honest, butif I understand you correctlythe output of that thing is a frequency, right? Question: What is the frequency range of that signal and what is the voltage? You said, that you need to control something as well. What kind of output signal you need there from the PLC? Regards.

Please correct me somebody, if I am wrong. But I believethat there aresinus to pulse converters available. With them you would be able to get itin. Or is this what you are actuallylooking for?
