SIMOTICS 1LE1501-3AB43-3AB4-Z

Dear all,

could some one help me with understanding attached motor nameplate?

Motor is Simotics 1LE1501-3AB43-3AB4-Z, line supply is 440V/60Hz, motor connection is delta.

On motor nameplate there are two sets of nominal values for same power supply of 440V/60Hz.

Which nominal parameters should be set as motor rated values in VFD?

1) 440V / 60Hz / 285A / 178kW / 0,87 / 95% / 1790rpm

OR:

2) 440V / 60Hz / 255A / 160kW / 0,87 / 95% / 1790rpm

Cooling medium is air with inlet temperature less than 40°C and altitude is less than 1500m.

Since your line supply is 440V / 60 Hz, you should enter below parameters in VFD.

440V/60Hz/285A/178KW/0.87/95%/1790 RPM.

160Kw is at 50 Hz.

Thank you for help and advice, but on motor nameplate and attached datasheet there are two rated values for same incoming line supply of 440V/60Hz.

I suppose that 285A/178kW are nominal values, and 255A/160kW are reduced values for environments where air temperature is more than 40°C and altitude is more than 1000m?

Hello,

Please refer attached sheet, accordingly motor data is as below.

Prated @ 50 Hz 160 Kw, RPM 1490, Trated = 1025 Nm, IE2, effi rated @100% = 94.9, Irated @ 400 V = 280 Amp

Prated @ 60 Hz = 184 Kw, Please refer note1 - operating values at rated output for 60 Hz available on request.

If your altitude is more than 1000m, then you need to go for 1LE1501-3AB53-4AB4-Z motor.
