6RA22 DC Drive showing F11 Faults

longwalker Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hello, I need help I have a 6RA22 DC drive and keep giving F11 fault but the encoder is fine and I have check and clean the commutator. What else can I do to get this runing? Thanks,

Have you checked the DC output waveform of tacho? Have you checked the ripple contains? Also please mention does your motor runs in field weakening mode? When you get this fault, mean the movement start command is given or after some RPM, time etc. Please describe the problem in details. If possible please provide the complete part no of drive along with tacho details. Please find attached here with F11 fault significance. DEEP. longwalker Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hello Deep, I did check the encoder and the wiring back to the drive and the encoder was fine. I'm here in a third world country were the customer doesn't stock new replacement parts only the ones that been pull off from before. Two week ago I took two used 400HP dc drives and made one running both drives just had different problems. I did same today I took the drive apart and took meter readings on the power modules and changed the top processor card and the drive came up running. I couldn't belive I would get this running like the one two weeks ago. This was a melt pump drive that was holding the who extrusion line down. Thanks for reply Longwalker
