COMMISIONING OF 1FG1 SERVO WITH CU320 IN BASIC POSITIONING MODE

HI EVERYONE,

I am using the following hardware :-

1. 1510 sp-1pn plc                                                                     1 unit

2. cu 320-2pn                                                                             1 unit

3. cu A32 with pm240                                                                4 units

4. 1FG-1500-C2600-2AA1-Z  Servo motor with drive cliq      4 units

I want to commission these 4 servo in basic positioning mode . Please help me regarding this. I have simotion scout version 5.2 and tia version 15.1 installed in my system

the PM240-2 with CU Adapter was firstly introduced in Startdrive V16. 

So either you will have to setup the drive using STARTER and use the GSDML file in TIA Portal or you upgrade to V16 and you can directly configure everything in TIA. 

Doing in TIA: After your hardware config you need to activate the function module "Basic positioner". Then you are able to setup telegram 111 for each axis. On the PLC side you can use the SINA_POS function block to control the axes. (one instance of the FB for each axes is needed).

Thanks for your reply Sir.The servo motors have drive cliq , so can I take them in topology via automatic configuration in scout ?

And are there any particular ports on CUA32 where I need to connect the drive cliq cable of motor or I can can connect on any of the three X201 X200 X202.

i want to use the hardware limit switch fir reverse and forward movement of the servo . Suppose if one limit switch is activated then the motor should be able to move in the opposite direction and vice versa.

I have used standard sinapos block for the servo

If you really use the functionality of Hardware limit switches in the EPOS the drive will just stop when reaching the limit switch - only during active homing procedure you could use them to reverse, not in normal operation.

So I ask myself why you need EPOS positioning anyhow if you do not look for the drives position but simply want to go forward and backward between to limit switches?? Ususally with EPOS you do positionings to a certain target position which is in between the limit switches. If you want to reverse with the limit switches anyways then you need to program this in your PLC program or in your DCC logic in the drive or so. So read in your digital inputs and then give a certain new positioning command to the other direction when reaching the limit switch. But again: I cannot really understand that control mode, bechause then you could also simply do speed control and reverse when reaching the limit switch - you wouldn't need EPOS then.
