Palestine Posts: 74 Rating: (0)	Hello The option "Know-how protection" how can i enable it for any FC? and what is it for? and the Non Retain option what is it for is it only for data blocks? and is there any relation between the initial value in the data block and this option? check the attached picture please. best regards Attachment Properties.JPG (921 Downloads)

It is intended to protect interlectual property (e.g. standard blocks, or blocks that you might make yourself). It is enabled by having the line:- KNOW_HOW_PROTECT In the STL / SCL source code used to make the block. You then release the blocks (as a library or project) without the source code you used to make them. Thus people can use the blocks but they cannot read the internal code of the block.
