I am very new at the S7-300. I am connected to it and am trying to save program to laptop. COULD SOMEONE PLEASE HELP! |

Hi, First of all, it is not the way to work! [:(] Please make changes on your laptop and then download them to your S7-31x. It is recommended always to make changes or additions to the original project. When you want to upload a hole system, this is possible in the S7-manager. [;)] Using the menu command PLC > Upload Station you can upload the current configuration and all blocks from the programmable controller of your choice to the programming device. To do this, STEP 7 creates a new station in the current project under which the configuration will be saved. You can change the preset name of the new station (for example, "SIMATIC 300-Station(1)"). The inserted station is displayed both in the online view and in the offline view. The menu command can be selected when a project is open. Selecting an object in the project window or the view (online or offline) has no effect on the menu command. |

Thank you. I got it to download all the blocks. I could not make changes to it untill I had it on the laptop. |
