S7 1200 onboard PTO output 100 kHz max.
Looked at the picture and not sure anymore... If it still not working then solution is signal board SB1222 (200 kHz). Sinking output is possible. See system manual S71200.
You do not need external resistors because there are internal current limiting resistors 100kOhm. I did project with Yaskawas Junma series servo and Siemens S7 1214DC/DC/DC. Yes, there i used external resistors because internal resistors were small. |

Still there's another possibility to use source type: Connect PP, NP to 0V , add external resistor 1.2K in series with PG and NG and connect to PTO outputs. |
