Hello,

I have the following task: smoothly change VIPA system to SIEMENS S300.

Vipa system is build as follows: PLC (alone) and several remote nodes over profibus. All vipa branded.

We do not have original program for VIPA, we can not download anything to Simatic manager or TIA, we did try it hard  with different companies.

So, decision is to have 2 steps:

1. Remove Vipa PLC, install S7-300 (315 pn/dp) with the new program and during some stop days make sure that whole system works as before

2. Remove all vipa profibus IOs and install siemens remotes. (easiest part)

I made a project with just a HW config and some standard OBs for IO handling. Installed gsd for vipa components. Cannot get the profibus comms running. It is like half running (see attachment), data is not moving .

Does anyone have any experiens with profibus network setup with vipa remote ios? My network parameters are :
Speed: 93.75

What is the -exact- message/entry in diagnostics buffer of cpu and what diagnostics message is stated in the online diagnostics of the module itsef?
