Hi,

one of the innovations of the SP1 for STEP7 V12 (Released for Delivery at http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/de/76276623) is the inclusion of new instructions, like ENDIS_PW for S7-1500.

With this instruction it is possible enable/disable password access to S7-1500.

Here there is a very simple sample project to illustrate how it works.

It has a very simple S7-1500 program and a HMI for data visualization. With setting of digital inputs the password levels are enabled / disabled and it could be monitored from online access behavior of TIA Portal and HMI tag visualization. The password is “123456”

It isn’t possible to simulate with actual PLCSIM version.

Note: this sample program is not yet 100%tested.
