Denilson Pegaia Diamond Expert Joined: 9/23/2005 Last visit: 12/23/2025 Posts: 4433 Rating: (1487)	Hi, like descripted by the FAQ "Firmware Update S7-1500 CPUs and Displays" (http://support.automation.siemens.com/BR/view/en/77492231), there is three ways to update a firmware: 1 - Online firmware update with STEP 7 (TIA-Portal) 2 - Offline firmware update with the SIMATIC Memory Card (STEP 7, TIA-Portal) 3 - Offline firmware update with the SIMATIC Memory Card (without Engineering System)

Sprawl Posts: 58 Rating: (10)	This link is wrong, you can update the firmware via webserver. Required: Firmware 1.1.0 or higher installed already. Assign the right "perform a firmware update" to the user. See here, page 15 and Chapter 3.5 for the details: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/59193560
