Radski Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi, I would like to know if CPU 315-2 PN/DP will work with software redundancy? I can't seem to find any information regarding this one. I'm planning to use this instead of CPU 315-2DP so I can communicate the two CPUs via ethernet. Rad

And it seems that Siemens has the same idea if you take a look at the date of the latest update and the CPUs suitable for use. Interested? This link provides more information and order numbers.

I have asked support line about newer CPU's, but they said 'It could work with newer CPU's' but it also could not. Perhaps someone has experience with newer CPU's. Best regards, Wizard

This is more economical solution as compare to S7-400H or CPU 315-2DP with CP343-1 card. We would appreciate if you could share your project experience/info with us. Thanks in advance. Regards, Lee

Radski Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi guys, I already tried this one and it doesn't work. SW Red. only supports Industrial Ethernet communication (ISO) and not TCP/IP. Since the built-in PN port of CPU315-2PN/DP is only capable of TCP/IP, then this one is not possible. Regards, Radski
