Hello, Actually I do not know what's mode 12 in HSC0 for S7-200. Any way, there are integrated Inpus in S7-300 Compact CPUs (CPU31x-C...) these integrated I/Os has a technological functions and you can use them as high speed counters, hardware interrupt or standard DI.
