I am sure you can view the datalog on the memory card if you removed it and put into pc, but using the webserver you can access it much easier without interrupting your system by removing memory card. |

i checked the memory card and the data logs were saved there too. as you said, its much more easier to use the web server than to use the memory card. Thanks alot.

I am working with a 1214C CPU with a 24 MB memory card. I have made an datalogging program based on your example Pegaia. I have the following problem. My datalog starts to overwrite the values at 25 records. Which is strange. No matter what value I write at the records input of the datalogcreate block. I log the following variables: Cycle numbe: string[11] Description: string[30] Measurement: [string] The csv file is 9kb large when I transfer and look at it, so the format that I am loging can't be too large, can it? Any input would be helpfull. Thanks in advanced. Best regards Ales

Are you opening the file by just clicking the name in the webserver or are you actually downloading the file and saving it first? I have noticed that it shows only 25 when you just click on the name. Click on the download (floppy symbol), save it then open it and you should see everything. |

Hello IrvinC. Yes this was the reason, I was clicking on the link not on the floppy diskette. I was curious and inserted the SD card in to my computer and saw that all the data logs are 1 MB large. So I opened them and all the records were complete. So then I inserted the SD card back to the PLC and tried to download it by clicking on the diskette and it downloaded the complete file. Strange that the link has a sort of preview function, this should be stated somewhere IMHO. Thanks Best regards. A |

You can change the number of entries to view (just below the link) to what you require and then see more records that way if you wish. |

Hi all. I've got a question regarding of the read out of the real variable in a data log. Is it possible that the real variable would be written in this format to the datalog: 55.5 not like this5.500000E+01.
Doubt it, but it's worth to ask. Thanks in advanced, and have a great 2014 every one!!!! Cheers |
