Dear Per Olof, You have option of generating and using "Cross refrence". See the attachment for a hint.Use online manual of step7 for more help. Also possible to use "Go to location" capability of LAD/STL/FBD editor for a easier search facility while program tracking! Best regards, Hamid Hosseini |

Thank you very much! "Go to location" is grayed out on my project ? I can only select Network/Row. |

Dear Per Olof, Simply select a global address such as memories and then right click then select the "Go to location". Also possible to access from edit->go to -> location(Ctrl+ALT+Q). I hope this helps Best regards, Hamid Hosseini |

Hi, Here goes the picture. Also, you will not get this option offcourse if you select variable for instance DB inside function block (FB). |
Best regards, |

Hello, Directly from DB is not possible. You should remember which variable want to 'search' and write it in already started 'Go to Location' window as suggested above... Best regards, Hristo MIhalev |

Dear Per Olof, I also suggest checking "Cross reference " and its "filtering reference data "capability to be familiar with different type of data andsyntax of their absoulte addresses and also symbols. Data available in database of reference data can be search via "Go to location". Best regards, Hamid Hosseini |
