Hello,

I have no experience with S5, but have a converting machine that has a problem with the S5 PLC. This PLC is in Stop, I can toggle switch to put into run but no outputs are coming on., If I cycle power to PLC it will again be in Stop. I have Simatic OP7 connected with PLC and the display reads "Verify Loaded Data". Also the LED for battery off/low is illuminated.

I am thinking that this PLC has lost its programme, can somebody confirm if this is likely the case?

Yes, it seems so that there was a power failure and the battery is empty. In this case is the program lost.

Is there no backup of the S5 program then it is a problem.
