All what it says in the tooltip is, when you click on the correspomdent group display button, it will display the page(pdl) containing the error/message/event/alarm lock etc.....

graeber Experienced Member Joined: 12/16/2006 Last visit: 11/23/2025 Posts: 56 Rating: (2)	Hi Dinesh, I have seen this behaviour in the past where WinCC shows an alarm which is not there or when the alarm lock is not operable anymore. Normally it happens after many delta compiles and downloads and sometimes after renaming CFC charts or blocks. I think WinCC loses track of one of the communications jobs where you can't lock/unlock messages or sometimes acknowledge messages. Try to do an entire OS compile with memory reset followed by entire OS download to the OS server(s).

The solution was to connect once again block icon to a tag by fuction in wincc called Connect picture block to tag structure. Previously I tried to connect by Connect to PCS7 tag structure butit did not work for me. The strange and small difference but is solved my issue.

HajoPaj Regular Member Joined: 1/20/2020 Last visit: 11/11/2025 Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Hi all, I'm having the same problem as @DineshK here pcs7 V9p1sp2uc5 Some of VlvPosL (AdvLib91, FB1918) instances show display error/white crosses. Wincc Eventstate for those erroneus instanses is 1FFFFF_HEX/131071_Dec. After complete WinCC recompile some VlvPosL instances work again some others don't. Complete AS-compile doesnt seem to make a difference… VlvPosL instances operate properly, but the BlockIcon/faceplate larm indication does not show, also msgLock does not work. Strange feature - or a bug maybe? someone maybe has had a similar problem.
