Dear Experts,

I have migrated project from PCS7 V9.0 SP3 -> PCS7 V9.1 SP1.

While I put winCC in runtime, Alarm messages are not available. I am getting No connection to data server!

Please suggest.

"CCAlgRtServer.exe" is in running state.

here are two possible solution for the message "No connection to data server".

• 1. Delete on the ES in OS-Project folder the file <osname>.dcf
  2. Compile the OS-Server on the ES again with Server packages
  3. Load the OS-Server again
  4. Restart the OS
  
  
• And the user JazTai has described a solution in the post No Connection To Data Server! WinCC that has worked for him

Actually I am working on Virtual machine. PLCSim and WinCC runtime on same virtual machine.

okay, then I have an other idea. Is that possible that you have a insert a path for the OS? If you use the ES as OS-Server you have to delete the path of the OS and compile the OS again.

I also faced same issue regarding the NO CONNECTION TO DATA SERVER. and also I was unable to see any Alarm on top of SCADA Runtime.

I followed the below steps and it worked for me

1) Close Your Wincc Completely and in Windows Search bar search as Communication Settings & Open it as Run as Administrator.

2) SIEMENS Communication settings will open.

3) Go to SIMATIC NET ConfiguraTion > OPC UA Certificates and click on Recreate OPC UA Configuration.

4) Restart the PC and later Compile your OS Entirely .

Now It will start to show Alarms again.It happed because of PC Name Mismatched issue. after Recreating OPC UA Configuration my issue is resolved.
