Hello,

I’m experiencing an issue with a CNC CTX310 machine running SINUMERIK 810D Powerline.

Upon startup, the system displays the following message:

"Waiting for NCK communication"
and it does not proceed with the boot sequence.

I checked the SIMODRIVE 611 module. Right after powering up, the segment display briefly shows the numbers 1 - 5 - 6, then turns blank. After that, all LEDs light up and stay ON, as shown in the attached image.

I attempted to reset both the PLC and the NCK using the S3 and S4 switches, but nothing changes — the same error remains.

Note:

• The battery is brand new, so this is not a retention power issue.
• I also visually inspected the communication cables and didn’t find any obvious damage.

Please, if anyone has a solution or has encountered this issue before, your help would be greatly appreciated.
