The PLC is not limited to ten connected HMI devices. Rather, ten connection resources are reserved for HMI communication. Depending on the device type, one HMI device may occupy up to three connection resources. Therefore, this does not mean that all ten resources are reserved for HMI devices.

However, there is no reason to worry. Your PLC provides 320 connection resources. With additional communication modules, this number can increase to 384. PROFINET IO and IO-Link devices do not use any of these resources. Therefore, as long as no other communication channels are active, you should be able to connect more than 100 HMI devices.
