PID Wizard Compile Problems

FanMan Regular Member Joined: 2/26/2006 Last visit: 8/14/2023 Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	I am using Micro/Win v4.0.1.10 When I go to compile my program I recieve the following error for each of the 5 instances (PID Loops) PID0_INIT (SBR1) Network 2, line 3, Error 33: (operand 1) Undefined global symbol or local variable for the instruction operand. Of course, the code that this refers to is protected from view.

Thumper Posts: 62 Rating: (19)	Greeting Climate, I think you first need to get to the latest version of MicroWin. It looks like you're 2 versions out. I'm at 4.0.3.08 and have set multiple loops several times without difficulty. If this continues to cause you a problem you can send me your code and I'll look at it. Best Regards, Thumper

I little more information and recollection about the events prior. I originally setup all 8 PID Loops (0-7). All was working at that time. I realized that I did not need loops 5-7 so I removed these from the navigation bar. This is when the compile problem began...I think. I will try and attach the code for your review. Thumper Posts: 62 Rating: (19)	I received the file just file, If you just removed the subroutine from the navigation bar, that's what caused the problem. You should have rerun the wizard and it will do the extraction for you. All you need to do is tell it which loop to remove. Right now there are counter symbols in the PID_Int routine that don't point to a corresponding memory location. That's a "fatal" type compile error. You can't wizard out of it and you can't compile out of it. Hopefully you have an original with the 7 loops in it. Back them out using the wizard. If you don't have a back up, you'll need to start again with a fresh program. Sorry, Thumper
