Connection failure ET200SP Remote I/O

Thaunis Posts: 25 Rating: (0)	Hello, I've been trying to use an ET200SP To module my In- and Outputs within my project. The ET200SP is connected with Ethernet to the PC and connect further to the PLC (S7-1214c DCDCDC). The connection to the PLC works and I can go online with the PLC, but I cannot say the same for the ET200SP. The leds keep flashing green (Meaning, with my knowledge, that there is something wrong) and if I try and go online with the module it gives me a connection failure (see attachement). Even though I can flash the leds manually withing in the online menu (attachement). Does anybody have an idea why I get this connection failure? The program should only be loaded on the CPU with which it communicates. It is important to assign the profinet device name on the ET200SP I / O station.

Kind regards, Thaunis I see your situation probably like not created PN IO Master system with S7-1200 and ET200SP connected to this network. Can you confirm you did this connection? On other side I recommend check PN device name set what is required for correct PN functionality.

Thaunis Posts: 25 Rating: (0)	Hello, Thanks all for the replies! I managed to solve the problem yesterday afternoon. The ET200SP was assigned to the IE general card in my PC system and not to my PLC. This made it so that the inputs and outputs of both the PLC and the I/O Distribution card started at 0.0. Once I assigned it to the PLC my problem was solved! Kind regards, Thaunis
