Project Hydroponics, unfinished. I've been doing this for a little over two years. I mostly worked alone (not a lot of money).

Smart Irrigation, ver.II, details! Actual consumption depends on: 1.layered irrigation, UDF SMII unit. 5 time periods of watering - 1 period with a water volume of 60, 100, 150, 200. Periods from 2 to 5 are spelled out in counters B080-B083. The 2nd period will be with the addition of 5% and then 10, 20, 25%. For example, counter B080 has numbers from 8 to 15, which means that the first period we will have 7 days, then the 2nd period from 8 to 15, .... You can set any number of irrigation periods, for example, every 5 days add 5% - layer-by-layer irrigation by "centimeters"... 2. Simplified evapotranspiration, UDF 15-35-40 – for the main two parameters, air temperature and wind speed. In consultation with agronomists, according to the air temperature, I deduced If ≥ 35 °C, then add 10% to the base volume of water, if ≥ 40 °C, add 20%. The errors are within 1-2%, most of the data obtained are perfect. The data of the second counters are recorded in Excel. That is, we have climate-optimized intelligent irrigation based on two sensors (without the Internet)! I can't decide on the wind speed, there are a lot of different opinions! ((( I suppose this option - at a wind speed of ≥ 5 m/s +10%, at ≥10 m/s, +20% or 30%! 30% is a large overconsumption, then the condition is to wait for the wind to stop, up to 1-2 days? 2 days – will it be stressful for the plant? Or you can skip irrigation, as the controller polls the MLSMS sensors every day for the "dryness" of the soil – if it detects a dry sector >> automatic irrigation, only the basic volume of water! 3.https://youtu.be/LAqMzcBH7MY?t=254– operation of the program during precipitation. Precipitation during irrigation – pump stop, precipitation is recorded in the second counters, and separately in the B038 meter, with data registration in Excel. If we have the Internet, we can enable irrigation scenarios with expected rainfall (API via Home Assistant). For example, if precipitation of ≥ 10 mm is expected in the next 2 days, then irrigation is not turned on, the controller waits for precipitation, and only after them it tops up! Accounting for any amount of precipitation! For example, you need to water 20 mm, precipitation 3 mm - add 17 mm - saving water, electricity, equipment resources! In the spring, I am going to make an experiment with 3-4 varieties of vegetables and greens, 0.2-0.3 hectares. He found a plot, the owner is a competent friend, he is interested in vegetable growing. The problem is to find scientific publications with certain vegetable crops, which show all the data on climatology, fertilizers, water regime and consumption during drip irrigation. Still looking for.... Plant these varieties to determine what percentage of water we can save. If the drip is up to 40%, here I assume it will be up to 60%! In Kazakhstan, research institutes mainly work with cereals, cotton, sugar beet, and soybeans - There are no scientific publications about vegetables. Maybe someone who has conducted scientific experiments on vegetables will help? He will take patronage over the experiment, advice and consultations! If possible, inexpensive! Good news – the best electronic engineer and excellent programmer, Svagatam, has joined the project! (Moderator_Lan - This guy advises many for free, they deleted the link in vain!) We will be able to modernize and improve MLSMS humidity sensors!!!
