Have you checked that relay is working well.If not plz check that relay,first by diconnecting the drive runcommand.Gendrally the line contactor gets OFF when Runcommand is cut or faultoccured in drive. How you are stoping the drive ?.you must onlydisconnect the Forward/reverse command+ Run command.you should not disconnect Drive Enable.And by adjusting the Accleration &declerating parameter you can stop the motor immediately. Could you tell me what type of application you r using.
