LOGO Software

Was told it is a memory leacking.. Probably something known to Siemens. Have no idea.

Yesterday I have switched HW to 8.4 Logo. Now it is woriking..

HW switch: 2 hours. SW switch from 8.2 to 8.4: 8 hours. Total nightmare.

Running Linux on Macbook. So no CD or DVD. How to update when old Logo SW was on other machine? Omg.. You need to find something what has DVD, download whole DVD to flash, install from flash to new PC, download "update" and the update. When finally have this done, you need to read manuals and advices on net how to get thes Siemens software to run, because Siemens supports only suse. You need to change network config ar to blame Logo SW to think it is on suse (for no reason). Then you need to be on the same network - it is impossible to run LWE from different subnet even it sees logo and Logo Comfort is able to program it and LWE popups it is ok, it is just warning - no it does not work. It is one big hell to make first download after you want to switch to new logo. Of course, old laptop with 8.2 does not work with 8.4 logo..

Split from Logo outputs randomly switching on and off.

Running Linux on your MacBook, and doing so with a program designed primarily for Windows, is quite an achievement. Isn't there a runtime environment to run Win programs on Mac ? Or have you already tried a VM ? That way you avoid a lot of problems.
