With the overspeed fault you may need to set the maximum speed p1082 higher than the motor rated maximum P322. Also check the hystersis value p2162 as this plus p1082 will be the trip point for the fault. also check r1084 as this will show you the effective maximum. here is the link to the commissioning manual http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/49084703 here is the getting started manual http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/42905308 Here is a link to where you can find all the latest S120 manuals. I suggest you look at the function manual and look up drive identification. http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/21901735/133300 |

Hi, Anchobi, I was on the trip, so I couldnt not responde. At the mommet I dont have access to drives, so I will speak from the memory. I have most of those manuals. The problem with increasing the P0182, is that it can be <=P322, so I need also to increase P322, and this leads to motor identification procedure. With masterdrives, when I do motor identification, I need to uncouple the motor. Is this the case with S120 also? If yes, then a lot of work for increasing the maximum speed of the motor, where with masterdrives I would only need to change P353 (I f I remember well), and nothing else. :( As for the P2162, I was also looking at this parameter (looking at the help for fault), and according to manual, its value can be For p0322 = 0, p2162 <= 0.1 * p0311 For p0322 > 0, p2162 <= 1.02 * p0322 - p1082 In my case, it cannot be more than 38rpm (max rpm=1900), r1084=1900 Thanks, Goran |
