Advice for Siemens Load Cell Calibration

ni1 Posts: 50 Rating: (0)	Dear All, Now I have already calibrated and zeroing for siemens load cell. After zeroing, I already fill some liquid into the tank and now the liquid weight is 600kg. But later, I need to put a pump on the tank . At this time the pump weight also come in the total weight. But I do not want the pump weight. I need the liquid weight only. So how I have to do for calibration. Please kindly advise me for this. I really do not know how to do for this matter. Thanks for yours any inputs. Best regards, Ni

My answer: NO. This is wrong. If you are doing a calibration you have to do: 1. Execute "Adjustment Zero Valid" when the tank is empty. 2. Put the adjustment weight on the tank. 3. Execute "Adjustment Weight Valid". "So (1) Adjustment Weight Vaild , and then go to (2) Zeroing I just minus the pump weight (200kg) only.So the adjustment weight will be 200kg, right?" My answer: NO. This is wrong. Correct is for a calibration: 1. Execute "Adjustment Zero Valid" when the tank is empty. 2. Put the adjustment weight on the tank. 3. Execute "Adjustment Weight Valid". But there is another way to see the correct weight value: YOU CAN USE "zeroing (3)" WHEN THE TANK IS EMPTY. THAT'S ALL. AFTERWARDS YOU SEE THE CORRECT WEIGHT VALUE. Best regards Siwarexi

So after ZERO, make "SPAN callibration": Put the adjustment weight on the tank. 3. Execute "Adjustment Weight Valid". Best regards, Hristo Mihalev
