SSJV Posts: 19 Rating: (0)	i tried that before, but without any result. I was able to connect a KP1000PN RT simulation with my S7-1200 but, when i try with a RT professional it can´t connect.

Hello SSJV, You tried the WinCC RT Professional simulation with which FW version of the S7-1200 CPU? Is it v1 or v2.2?

Hello SSJV, The compatibilty between S7-1200 and WinCC RT Professional v11 is possible onlw with the following prerequisites - S7-1200 CPU with FW v2.2 - WinCC RT Professional v11 SP2 (Runtime) - WinCC Professional v11 SP2 (Engineering) If this is not fulfilled, then you need to make use of the OPC server as i mentioned earllier. Or update the CPU firmware and WinCC with v11 SP2

Hello SSJV, Now buying a Memory Card only for the purpose of upgrading the firmware may not help. Hold on for some time till we get some official information. As currently the S7-1200 System Manual (04/2012)says "Note You cannot update an S7-1200 CPU V2.2 or earlier to S7-1200 V3.0 by firmware update." So try to do the firmware update with the help from your local siemens representative.
